At Black Wattle Creations, we believe the best pieces in a home should be both beautiful and built to last. From our workshop in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, we handcraft premium chopping boards, serving boards, and bespoke timber pieces using hardwoods including walnut, American oak, and purpleheart.

Every peice is individually handmade with a focus on craftsmanship and durability. What began as a passion for woodworking has grown into a commitment to creating functional pieces that become part of everyday life. We believe timber has character worth preserving, which is why we choose high quality sustainably sourced materials.

Each piece is handmade in Australia, carefully finished by hand, treated with food-safe oils and natural beeswax, and designed to be practical and visually striking. We specialise in end-grain chopping boards that are gentle on knife edges and designed for kitchen use, featuring intricate patterns inspired by traditional craftsmanship.
